Natural History Speaker Series presents "The Natural History of Florida - Part 2" 
a talk by Christopher Nichol

Part 1 discussed Florida’s fossil record and early human history impact on the state.

Part 2 dives deeper into the early history of Florida. Join us for an informative presentation about the first human inhabitants and how Florida grew into the state that it is today. Discover how all of this impacts our lives. You will come to realize what a special place Florida truly is. Find out more!

ABOUT CHRISTOPHER NICHOL:
Christopher Nichol is in his 23rd year with St. Petersburg College and currently teaches
marine science at the Seminole Campus. He completed his graduate studies at Western
Connecticut State University specializing in oceanography and limnology. He has worked with many organizations including Tampa Bay Watch, Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Florida Conch Society and International Ocean Institute.

ABOUT NATURAL HISTORY SPEAKER SERIES: 
The Friends of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve and the St. Petersburg Parks and Recreation Department present the Natural History Speaker Series, a program that offers fascinating presentations on the natural and cultural history of Florida by individuals who are authorities in their fields.
