GRAMMY® nominated rock legend Jim Messina returns to Clearwater to headline his first show at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre. An undisputed expert in the fine art of making hit music, Messina’s legacy of musical genius spans five decades, three super groups (Buffalo Springfield, Poco, and Loggins & Messina), a vibrant solo career and scores of producing and engineering credits. Loggins & Messina released eight hit albums, had scores of hit songs ("Danny's Song", "House at Pooh Corner", "Your Mama Don't Dance"), sold over 16 million albums and became one of rock’s most successful recording duos ever. After a series of celebrated solo acoustic tours, Messina formed a band made of acclaimed musicians who have played with him at various points in his career. His latest release, In the Groove, includes selected hits from all three of his previous bands, as well as several of his solo works.
Tickets are $35, $45, and $59.
Performance is at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St, Downtown Clearwater.
