Gen Obolensky – Spa Owner, Aesthetician and Nail Technician

Gen was born in Canada but basically grew up totally in Florida. Her parents or in real estate and Contracting and neither of those appealed to Gen.

At 16 Gen was looking for a job and she started working for Amy the former owner of Botanica Day Spa. She did errands and anything that was needed. But during this period of time she got her license at 18 years old and at 22 years old the spa became available for sale. She was able to purchase a spot this time and has owned and operated it ever since. It's interesting to note that Botanica Day Spa is the first Spa  opened in Clearwater.

So in the meantime she went to trade schools and got her license at Loraine's Academy in St Petersburg.

 

Gen works with the world literacy Crusade and with the winter wonderland in Clearwater as part of her charity outreach.

Current manager is Treco Miller. He has worked his way up from the bottom to the manager of the store. He knows every job there is to know and he knows what people need and want. Treco his very interested in helping other people and he sometimes can be found at the homeless shelter feeding meals to the homeless. He doesn't make the soup but he sure serves it.

Around The Town Signs started designing business logos in 1981. The founder and CEO is Arden Dittmer. Arden is a very unique businessman in that he has ideas that fit what this country needs. He is a family man with a family operated business. His daughter and son help him in the business.

He grew up in the Chicago area and is a Chicago Bears fan but primarily he's a Bucs Fan because he's in Tampa Bay. He's also a season ticket holder so you probably can't get your sign done if the game is on.

Jason Holcombe is the grandson of the founder of THG Rental and Sales.  Jason’s grandfather opened the doors in 1974 when Jason was only four years old. Jason could barely crawl up on one of them mowers in those days.

Jason spent a lot of time between Florida and California, living in California with his mother in the winter and living in Florida with his father the summer at the rental yard.

 

After working in the banking industry, along with other things and getting his degree in business and administration Jason decided to go to work for his father in Clearwater at the rental yard.  Probably giving up scuba diving in Humboldt and Fort Bragg, California was the hardest part of the move. He still misses freshly caught abalone and salmon from the Pacific Ocean.
