Named in 2017 as one of "10 Greatest Destination Triathlons by Complete Tri, St. Anthonyâs Triathlon celebrates its 36th year in 2019 with a beautiful St. Petersburg setting, great fan support and tremendous competition.
The three events - St. Anthony's Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon and Meek & Mighty - have something for everyone whether you are a highly ranked professional, newbie amateur, youth competitor, volunteer or spectator cheering a friend or family member.
Held in downtown St. Petersburg, the events take place in an eclectic, historic, metropolitan area with shops, restaurants, unique architecture and stately residential neighborhoods. The Triathlon and Sprint events begin at North Shore Beach, a picturesque starting point into Tampa Bay. St. Anthonyâs traditional late April date is conducive to good weather. The average temperature is 83 degrees. Then, take in the sights and scenes of downtown St. Petersburg.
