Posted By Timothy Kuchar On Monday, August 6, 2018

Bay Life Pharmacy is a locally owned independent pharmacy. They are an integrative compounding pharmacy that focuses on the healthier lifestyle.

They also have Free pharmacy home delivery and Free counseling services.

At Bay Life Pharmacy, their mission is to provide expert medication services while functioning as an active partner in your health-care needs. Their core priorities are ….compliance, accuracy, expediency, availability, and professionalism.

When you meet the CEO, John Watkins, you will see why this pharmacy is so well-liked and frequented. He was born and raised in Indiana, Chicago Bears fan, and grew up on KFC since his father owned a franchise. Growing up in a small place he knew what a small, independent business meant to their customers.

Is very community oriented also and works with the Pinellas County Housing Authority as well as the High Point community center. He treats all his employees as family. And last but not least he has a great sense of humor. He opened his East Bay store on the 12th day, the 12 month, the 12 year, the 12 hour and the 12 minute of 2012. Don’t you think they need an award for this guy?

I asked, who was behind all of this “care about patients” and “be the best you can” and Lila popped up and said “me”. you really have to meet her also.

Compounding , Something Few Pharmacies Have

Compounding is the practice of preparing custom prescription formulas to fit the individualized care for each patient. Bay Life Pharmacy compounded drugs are made by precisely mixing together prescription, non-prescription and/or natural ingredients, to create a formulation which is not readily available.

Don’t stop your medication – Simply change it with compounding.

Bay Life Pharmacy can customize how your medications are packaged to fit your lifestyle.

The Compounding Solution for Pets/Animals

As any pet owner is well aware, animals can be extremely difficult to treat with medications.  Cats are notorious for refusing to swallow pills, and usually will eat right around pill that is disguised in food.  Dosages can be very tricky for dogs. A dose of medication that works for a 75-pound German Sheppard may be far too much for a six-pound Pomeranian to handle.

Options to Choose

Ointments, Creams, Gels, Tablets, Trouche/Lozenges, Syringes, Capsules, Suspensions, Solutions, Lollipops, Balms, Suppositories, Nasal preparations, Pastes, Sprays and Transdermal.  If one of these don’t work, I don’t know what will.

We will work directly with your doctors to get the medical products you need as quickly as possible.  If we do not have the product in stock we will put it in our inventory.  Keeping things simple and convenient for you is what we do!

It’s no secret that most kids don’t like taking medicine. From flavoring medications to make them taste better, to providing individualized strengths and dosage forms, a compounding pharmacist can help make medication time easier and less stressful for your child – and you!

We work together with Pediatricians, families, and their children to customize pediatric medications and meet specific needs.
Children pose many challenges when it comes to medication: they may resist having to take a medication, dislike the taste or texture, have difficulty swallowing solid dosage forms, and are fearful of injections. Most medications are not labeled for pediatric populations, and when a medication is not approved for use in infants and children, it usually is not available in a suitable pediatric dosage form.

Bay Life Pharmacy can and does make taking medication fun again and not the dreaded reputation it has had in the past.

You must visit Bay Life Pharmacy.
