St. Petersburg native and GRAMMY®-nominated rock, blues saxophonist/vocalist Mindi Abair returns to the Capitol Theatre with her band The Boneshakers. One of the most recognized and sought-after saxophonists, Abair has been electrifying audiences with her dynamic live performances and utter command of the saxophone since her debut album in 2000. She has garnered ten #1 radio hits, six top 5 spots and two #1 spots on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz album chart, appeared for two seasons as the featured saxophonist on the hit series American Idol, and is the only saxophonist to tour with rock legends Aerosmith. Mindi Abair & The Boneshakers captures the intent of a rock band, the grit of a blues band, and enough energy to light a stadium. The Greg Billings Band will open the show.
Tickets are *$75, $46, and $36. *$75 VIP Meet & Greet ticket includes a premium seat and photo opportunity. An email will be sent with details for the time of the meet & greet 2-3 days prior to show.
