On the heels of their 25th Anniversary Tour, alternative hip hop trio G. Love & Special Sauce make their way to Clearwater for their Capitol Theatre debut! They released their self-titled debut album in 1994 and on the strength of the single "Cold Beverage", the album nearly went gold due in part to the song's rotation on MTV. Fifteen albums later, the band is still delivering their unique, "sloppy", and "laid back" blues sound that encompasses classic R&B with other hits including “Baby’s Got Sauce”, “This Ain’t Living”, and “Love Saves The Day”. The band features frontman Garrett Dutton, better known as G. Love, Jeffrey Clemens on drums, and Jim Prescott on bass and they are known for their live shows where they create the feel of a never ending jam party…where everyone is welcome!
General Admission tickets are $99*, $32.50 in advance,and $35 day of show.
Doors for GA Ticket Holders open at (7PM). Performance is at the Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St, Downtown Clearwater.
*$99 G. Love’s Pre-Show Pop Off includes a general admission ticket with early entry, access to a pre-show performance and Q&A with G. Love at sound check, group photo on stage with G. Love and a limited edition poster autographed by G. Love. You will receive instructions via email 4-7 days before each show with event information.
